From lifeguard turned emergency medical responder, to attraction attendant turned aerospace engineer countless young adults have used Roaring Springs and Wahooz as a launch pad for greatness!

And this might come as a surprise:  Roaring Springs and Wahooz treasure training teens. Starting with 14- and 15-year-olds, managers can meld first-time workers into skilled, dedicated, customer service- oriented members of a very special team. And 70% of them come back summer after summer, climbing the ranks from frontline, to supervisor, and even beyond.

This is the scene during the summer season when our team swells to over 1,000 employees…from pressure washers who arrive before sunrise, to Pinz servers who cap off the night with cosmic bowling. And in between there are Swim School instructors, birthday party hosts, go-kart mechanics, buttoned-up banquet servers in the upscale Galaxy, and of course, more than 200 certified lifeguards.

The team’s ultimate goal: To create a magical experience that extends beyond the rides and the slides, seeping into every interaction and creating an atmosphere of pure delight for guests.

But the magic doesn’t fade when the temperature drops; about half that number keeps the flame alive at Wahooz, Pinz, and the Galaxy, ensuring that the fun never hibernates in the off-season.

For example, Marketing Director, Tiffany Quilici is the company’s longest-tenured employee at 23 years (and also the voice of Roaring Springs & Wahooz!), while her daughter works as a lifeguard.

It is not uncommon for our employees to go on to do great things and Ashley Wolfe is certainly no exception.

As a lifeguard who rose through the ranks to Operations Manager at Roaring Springs, Ashley discovered her inner superhero by gaining a passion for aquatic safety, leading her to dive into the world of higher education, and emerging with a master’s degree in counseling.

Since then, Ashley co-founded ALIVE Solutions, a dynamic squad of experts who ensure their client’s aquatic adventures run with superior levels of safety. Ashley’s success doesn’t end there, she currently serves as the Vice Chair of the World Waterpark Association’s Education Committee, helping to set global safety standards.
